Hi,

Need advice from an attorney:

My I-94 expires in december 2010. I have an approved Advance parole till Dec 2011(I485 is pending). Is it required to travel outside the country and get a new I-94 ?

2. Is there a source on the Net that I can refer to that explains this?

If you are maintaining H-1B status, you can file for status extension and will get new I-94.

If you are using EAD and have I-485 pending "status" then I-94 extension is not necessary.

This is the sort of news we should publicize.
Here is a clear example of business leaders moving ahead of the politics of this issue. It will have an impact on any sensible person.
It should get onto as many news wires as possible. Which sensible person can say that those 1000 high paying jobs going to Vancouver/Canada is in the interest of Seattle/USA. Imagine to spin off losses of this, to housing, to retail, to all sorts of areas of the economy where many Americans make their livelihoods.
This is what people don't understand, push them too far and capitalists will weaken the US economy.

My wife is on a contract jod to another city and now I get this FP notice which is scheduled in the city I reside. is it possible to reschedule it to another location. On the Notice itself there is an option to reschedule is to another time but not to another location

I will be travelling outside US using AP by end of this month. I don not have valid stamped visa. Recently small part of my old company (A)got acquired by new company and my job was moved to new company (B)

Lawyer at company B applied for New H1 in May 2008 ( old is still valid till 2009)�but haven�t received approved 797 notice yet.

Can I travel outside US and comeback without haveing approved new 797 notice. I do have EAD and old 797.

Any issues ? I don�t want to abandon my H1 status.

Gurus please advise.

What is unemployment wage report? I read that many visa seekers were asked for this.

Also, they were asked for a notarized list of all the employees with their job title, salary and immigration status. Wow now to get salary information for everyone is breach of privacy.

I applied for I 485 , AP and EAD during 07 July. I got a fp notice back in 2007 and I got another one two weeks ago. I went ahead and did my bio-metrics over the weekend at TSC Application Support Center.

Does this mean that somebody has looked into my file and pre adjudicated it? or is it a automated thing and does not mean anything?

Please advice!

I do not know. I got a notice too. Due for Biometrics this month end.
